Vishal Dadlani is an Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter that has worked in the majority of the Bollywood movies ever since he started his career.
Born on the 28th of June 1973 in a Sindhi Hindu family in Mumbai Maharashtra, he went to Hill Grange High School in Mumbai and went to Jai Hindi College, and completed his degree in commerce. Dadlani’s music journey started in Mumbai-based indie rock band Pentagram in 1994 as a frontman. Pentagram has been recognized as one of the pioneers of Indian Independent Music. While working in the band, Dadlani found works in movies like Jhakaar beats and Salaam Namaste.
In 1999, Dadlani formed a partnership with Shekhar Revjiani named Vishal-Shekhar. Together they performed and composed music as a duo. Their notable works include the likes of Om Shaanti om (2007), Bachna Aye Haseeno (2008), Dostana (2008), Anjaana Anjaani (2010), Ra. One (2011), Student Of The Year (2012), Chennai Express (2013), Bang Bang (2014), Happy New Year (2014), Sultan (2016), Befikre (2016). Together the duo has produced over 300 songs, 60 films, and 1,000 worldwide shows.
Apart from this, Dadlani has also done playback singing. He first got his break in the movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Shankar Ehsaan Loy gave him his first track that Dadlani recorded named “Dhoom Again” which became a nationwide sensation.

Basically, every known Bollywood movie ever has a score or a composition or even a playback singing of Vishal Dadlani. He has worked with all the top of the chart’s filmmakers, artists, singers, actors, and actresses. He has also been a well-known judge in the popular Indian singing shows Indian Idol Junior and Indian Idol.
Dadlani has won many awards some of them include Best Composer, Best Music, Best Song, Best Song Recording, Best Background Score, he won the Club Song Of The Year for War (2019), Best Film Song for Ra.
