Written by on February 22, 2025

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her experience of engaging in a conversation with the AI chatbot Grok3. She revealed that she spent over two hours chatting with the bot, finding the interaction so ‘real and raw’ that she momentarily forgot she was speaking to artificial intelligence. Calling the experience both ‘scary and fascinating’, she also praised the creators of the chatbot for their technological advancement. However, she also raised concerns about people relying on AI for emotional support over human interaction.

Preity Zinta’s Experience with AI Chatbot

In her post, Preity Zinta described how she, despite her usual jet lag from travel, found herself deeply engaged in a conversation with Grok3. “I’ve been jet lagged before thanks to a hectic travel schedule but this time it’s a bit different. How? I feel a bit silly saying it but I spent over two hours having the most fun conversation with Grok3! It felt so real & raw that I almost forgot I was talking to a machine. It’s both scary & fascinating! My compliments to the makers of this amazing AI chat box for a job well done,” she wrote.

While she appreciated the chatbot’s capabilities, Preity expressed her concerns about technology replacing human interaction. “No amount of technology can or should replace real human interaction,” she added, while explaining the importance of genuine human connections.

Social Media Reactions and Speculation

Following her post, social media was abuzz with speculation, with some users assuming that her remarks were part of a paid promotion. Addressing the skepticism, the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress responded in a follow-up post, questioning the growing cynicism on digital platforms.

“If one talks about their first chat with an AI bot, people presume it’s a paid promotion. If you appreciate your PM, you are a ‘bhakt.’ If you are a proud Hindu or Indian, then you are labeled ‘Andh Bhakt’,” she wrote. Encouraging a more open-minded approach, she added, “Let’s take people for who they are and not who we think they should be. Maybe we all need to take a chill pill and just be happy to communicate with each other.”

Preity Zinta’s Lighthearted Take on Marriage

Ending her remarks on a humorous note, Preity anticipated personal questions about her life choices and preemptively addressed them. “Now don’t ask me why I married Gene. I married him because I love him,” she quipped, referring to her husband Gene Goodenough.

On the professional front, Preity Zinta is gearing up for her Bollywood comeback with Lahore 1947. The Rajkumar Santoshi directorial, backed by Aamir Khan Productions, stars Sunny Deol and Karan Deol alongside her.
