Sonu Sood reacts to having a mandi thali that can feed 20 named after him

Tollywood and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has yet another fan honouring all the good he did for the needy since the pandemic

A popular mandi restaurant with various branches in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana launched a humongous mandi thali dubbed the Sonu Sood Plate. The founder said that the thali is named after the actor because of his ‘big heart’. Sharing pictures of him posing with the mandi plate, Sonu wrote on his social media, “Being a vegetarian guy who eats little food can’t have a plate on his name that caters to 20 people at a time. (sic)” The plate is meant to be shared with friends and family, with fans across the Telugu states excited to try it out.

Fans were also present at the launch to catch a glimpse of the actor who found newfound fame during the pandemic. The actor took the initiative to first help stranded migrant workers across the country find their way home. Then he continued to help those in need from across the country, earning fame for his philanthropy. While he was a popular antagonist in south Indian films before this, the kind of roles he’s being offered have begun to change since his public perception.
