Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma might have been away from the big screen, but the celebrated actress has been in touch with fans via Instagram. An avid social media user, Anushka often shares pretty photographs, life updates and more on social media.
Her latest Instagram Story is an AR Rahman appreciation post, and for all those who love Rahman’s music, it’s certainly a cue to add his songs to your weekend playlist.
The actress took to social media to share a little something about her Saturday playlist. Anushka shared a screenshot of a video she was watching, which comprised several AR Rahman songs.
Alongside it, she wrote: “AR Rahman appreciation post.” She also highlighted a comment that read: “God has chosen AR to send his heavenly music to us.”
Anushka’s playlist included songs of her colleagues including Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor among others. Some songs to have featured on the list include Agar Tum Saath Ho, Maahi Ve, Tum Ho, Kabhi Kabhi Aditi, Ye Hasi Wadiyan, Tu Hi Re, Dil Se Re, Sun Ri Sakhi, Ishq Bina Kya Jeena Yaara, Guzarish, Sathiya Sathiya and Kismat Se Tum Humko Mile Ho among others.
Anushka is currently keeping her husband Virat Kohli company as he leads Team India in the ongoing T-20 World Cup. Last night, she was photographed in the stands, cheering for the team as they beat Scotland by eight wickets. Earlier on Friday, she had also shared a happy photo to wish Virat on his birthday. The duo was smiling ear to ear as they posed in traditional outfits.
Her love-filled message for Virat read: No filter needed, for this photo and the way you lead your life. Your core is made of honesty and guts of steel. Courage that pales doubt into oblivion. I know no one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you can. You grow better in every way because you hold on to nothing in you as permanent and are fearless. I know we are not ones to talk to each other through social media like this but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing man you are Fortunate are those who really truly know you.
