It was in 2020 that the deadly coronavirus took over the world causing deaths all around the globe. With the sudden rise in the cases, most countries went under complete lockdown. Strict restrictions on travelling and movement were implemented and most people had to stay home. In 2021, things started to look a little better as more and more people got vaccinated and positive cases started going down. A lot of restrictions were eased and people started getting back to their normal lives.

However, now the Omicron variant of coronavirus has started to spread across different parts of the world including India. At the state level, Maharashtra is recording a steep rise in daily cases. Amidst all this, a number of Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai also contracted the virus recently. Take a look.

Actress-dancer Nora Fatehi got diagnosed with the virus on December 28 and is currently in isolation. The diva took to her Instagram stories to share the news. A part of her statement read, “Hey guys, unfortunately I am currently battling Covid… It has honestly hit me real hard! I’ve been bed ridden for a few days now under doctor supervision“.

Mrunal Thakur, who will next be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in Jersey, recently tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram to share the news.

Arjun Kapoor is currently in quarantine after he tested positive for Covid-19. The actor had also contracted the virus in September of 2020.
