Nick Jonas dedicatedly performs Diwali puja with Priyanka Chopra; actress parties with Mindy Kaling, Lilly Singh

People across the country celebrated the festival of Diwali yesterday. Tinsel town celebs, too, dressed in their best ethnic outfits to party with their loved ones. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra celebrated the festival of lights in Los Angeles, California with her hubby Nick Jonas. Taking to Instagram, she treated her almost 70 million followers to amazing photos.
The actress’ latest post shows her and Nick performing Diwali puja. She captioned the post, “या देवी सर्वभूतेषु लक्ष्मी रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः With the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi we invite Her grace and abundance into our home. Happy Diwali.”
In the photos, Nick can be seen wearing a white kurta with colourful embroidery around the neck. Priyanka, on the other hand, looks stunning in a yellow saree with minimal gold jewellery. The diva kept her hair open and opted for subtle makeup.
Prior to this, Priyanka shared another post that had photos of her enjoying a Diwali party with Mindy Kaling and Lilly Singh. For that bash, the actress chose to wear a stunning floral lehenga with mirror work choli.
She captioned her post, “Love, laughter and a room full of badass desi boss ladies. Thank you @mindykaling, @deepica + @meena for a lovely pre Diwali celebration.” Interestingly, Priyanka’s lehenga was by designer Arpita Mehta and it comes with a price tag of Rs 79,000.
On the movie front, Priyanka has many interesting projects coming up. She has been working on her upcoming web show, Citadel. The actress also has Text for You and a wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling in the works. She will also be seen in Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix Resurrections. Back home, Priyanka has teamed up with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt for Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa. This will be her first collaboration with the actresses.
