Ranveer Singh asks Deepika Padukone ‘having fun baby?’, actress’ hilarious reply has a Kapil Dev connection

People all across the world are happily bringing in the new year 2022. Some got together with their friends and family to mark New Year’s Eve while some spent the last night of the year in the company of their beloved partners. Falling in the latter category is Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The duo, who easily makes for Bollywood’s most loved couple spent New Year’s Eve having a gala time with each other.
Ranveer had taken to social media to offer a glimpse of what the couple was up to and the video is sure to leave you laughing like no other. It so happened that Deepika and Ranbir were out for New Year’s Eve dinner. In the video shared on social media, Ranveer asks Deepika if she’s having fun. “Having fun, baby?” To which, Deepika pulls off a Kapil Dev-isque answer.
Imitating the legendary cricketer, Deepika said: “To enjoy, what else we here for?” The video comes days after Ranveer Singh stepped into the shoes of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev for the film 83. The cricketing drama is directed by Kabir Khan and stars Deepika Padukone in the role of Kapil Dev‘s wife Romi Bhatia.
Deepika looked absolutely gorgeous in an off-shoulder gown. The actress completed her look with a bun with middle parting, hoop pairings and a choker necklace. While it’s difficult to take eyes off Deepika in the video, the comments following on the post are also eye-catchy. Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem, who plays a key role in 83, commented that Deepika pulled off Kapil Dev’s talking style better. His comment read: “She does it better lala.” Many other celebs including Zoya Akthar had the cutest comments to share for the power couple.
