Shraddha Kapoor celebrates Gudi Padwa with her family.

Shraddha Kapoor, whose mother and maternal side of the family follow Marathi culture, is also a Marathi mulgi at heart. She has time and again showcased her love for their traditions and culture, and now just like every year, she celebrated Gudi Padwa in a quintessential Maharashtrian style. The actress, who enjoys a massive fan following on social media, decided to wish them on this special occasion and also shared glimpses of how she decided to ring in the festivities.

Needless to say, Gudi Padwa cannot be completed without the Maharashtrian special gudi which is created with a stick and a brass kalash, which is decorated with a piece of cloth and garland. This is supposed to signify a flag or more of a symbolic representation for Lord Brahma as we get to welcome the New Year. Shraddha Kapoor took to the social media platform to share photos of this special Gudi from her residence along with a series of the fun moments she spent with her family. She posted these along with the caption wishing her fans saying, “Happy Gudi Padwa Meri Insta Fam. Gudi Padwa ki aapko aur aapke parivaar ko hardik shubhkaamnaaye”.

While her fans not only reciprocated her wish, but many of them addressed her as a ‘down to earth’ girl and showered her with appreciation.

Shraddha Kapoor had a great 2023 where she received immense love and appreciation for her role as Nisha aka Tinni in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. As for her upcoming ventures, the actress will also be returning with the horror franchise Stree 2, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
