Will Smith visits India weeks after Oscars slap controversy, Hollywood star spotted at Mumbai airport

Hollywood actor Will Smith, who was in the news for his recent Oscars slap controversy, is currently in India. The actor had reportedly been living at a five-star hotel in Mumbai for a few days and has now jetted off to another state. On Saturday morning, Will was spotted at the private airport in the city – General Aviation Terminal at Kalina near Santacruz.

Interestingly, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith had recently revealed through a statement on an episode of Red Table Talk season five that his family is “focusing on deep healing” after the controversy. Chances are that Will, who met the founder of Isha Foundation Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev last year, is on a spiritual trip.

In the video shared online, Will is seen sweetly interacting with fans and clicking pictures with them. The actor is also seen waving and smiling at the paparazzi.

Recently, Will made headlines for his controversial moment at Oscars 2022. The actor sent shock waves around the world when he, during the live telecast of the Academy Award, slapped Chris Rock in the face for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.
