They say marriages are made in heaven and if it’s true love, it can conquer all. Well, a recent incident in Pakistan proved that love can bring two people together despite out of the ordinary circumstances.
An 18-year-old girl got hitched with a 55-year-old man, leaving their families and relatives shocked. What’s even more absurd is the fact that they fell in love with each other over just one thing — music. Infact, it was a hit song from Bobby Deol’s film ‘Badal’, which brought the couple together.
Fell in love due to music
Muskan and Farooq Ahmed tied the knot after they realized they shared interest in music. However, the Pakistan couple’s love story blew up after Youtuber and content creator Syed Basit Ali interviewed the “unique couple”.
Farooq lived across the street from Muskan- or as Syed put it, “Samne wali khidki mein” and the two came closer when Farooq, who is obsessed with music, took a liking to the teen’s singing.
Actually, Muskan used to hum songs and gradually, Farooq became obsessed with her voice. He would frequently visit her home and shower gifts on Muskan.
Girl fell for the man first
A few meetings later, she started dropping him hints by singing Na Milo Humse Zyada from “Badal” — a Hindi film starring Bobby Deol and Rani Mukherjee — over and over again.
With the passage of time, their love grew and it was Muskan who fell for Farooq first, who also realised it soon and then they decided to tie the knot.
