Anushka Sharma is having the time of her life in England right now. She took off to the Queen’s land a month ago along with Virat Kohli, her baby girl Vamika and the rest of the Indian cricket team for their next series. Anushka has been sharing the most fun pictures from her little holiday. Whether it’s sharing inspirational quotes, announcing her new movie, her breakfast, or taking a random walk in town, Anushka’s social media page is a dream come true for every traveller.
But this time around, it’s all about the new pics from SA. The pictures see Anushka sitting in the stands along with Vamika as the two enjoyed the match. In the viral pictures, Anushka held Vamika close and was seen playing with her and trying her hand at explaining the game to her baby. Although fan pages have ensured to cover Vamika’s face, the toddler looked adorable in pigtails and a pink frock.
On the other hand, Anushka fans have a lot to celebrate. Anushka was last seen on the big screen in 2018 with Zero. And earlier today, she has finally gone on to announce her new project.
Titled Chakda Xpress, the film is a biopic based on the former Indian women’s cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. Sharing an update on the same, Anushka wrote, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
Coming back to her family life, little Vamika will be turning a year old in a few weeks and fans can’t wait to see how the doting parents celebrate.
