According to media reports, the Gehraiyaanactress will be unveiling the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar on December 18. She will soon be jetting off to the country to do the honours.
Deepika is said to be the first Indian celeb to be receiving such recognition at the world’s most-watched sporting event.
Earlier, dance diva Nora Fatehi had participated in the FIFA World Cup 2022 FanFest and set the stage on fire with her killer moves. Along with shaking a leg on the World Cup anthem Light The Sky, she also danced to her superhit tracks such as O Saki and Manike.
