Rasgulla Recipe

2 cups powdered milk
2 cups self raising flour
1/4 tsp cardamon powder
Pinch of nutmeg
200ml yoghurt
1 bottle ghee ( for frying)
SYRUP
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 tsp rose water
In a bowl mix powdered milk, self raising four, cardmon powder and nutmeg;
Mix the ingredients together for few minutes.
Add yoghurt and Knead gently to make a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into small balls, use ghee to give a smooth finish.
Make syrup
Boil sugar and water to one thread consistency and add rose water.
On a medium heat fry the balls gently until golden brown. You may reduce the heat to low if required.
Add the fried balls to syrup and let it soak until you see the rasgulla is well soaked and spongy.
Serve cold with or without syrup.
