Telangana groom gets admitted to hospital on wedding day to avoid getting married

Anwesh from Hanamkonda, Telangana, told his family on his wedding day that he wanted to go to the hospital as he slipped and fell. Despite doctors giving him an all-clear, Anwesh complained he was unwell. Finally, he revealed that he was no longer interested in getting married. The man worked as a software engineer in the US.
One groom got into trouble after faking illness to get out of his wedding. However, the man’s acting skills failed him and his plans.
Anwesh from Hanamkonda, Telangana, was set to marry on August 21. The software engineer working in the US told his family that he wanted to get married within a week of getting engaged to a woman from Jagtial district headquarters. Consequently, the elders of the bride and the groom’s family decided to conduct the ceremony at a function hall in the same district.
Additionally, the bride’s family agreed to pay Anwesh Rs 25 lakh as a dowry. The girl’s family paid Rs 15 lakh during the engagement and told the groom’s family that they would pay the rest of the dowry on the day of the wedding.
However, the girl’s family did not anticipate a chaotic wedding day. On the day of the wedding, the groom told his relatives that he wanted to go to the hospital as he slipped and fell in the bathroom. The worried relatives immediately rushed him to the hospital and doctors took care of him.
However, Anwesh complained of being unwell again. Doctors from another hospital checked him and told the family that he was completely fine.
The drama went about for five hours until the groom was forced by the bride’s family to tell the truth. Finally, the man stated that he was not interested in getting married. The furious family of the bride attempted to assault the man but the fight was avoided due to the intervention of other family members.
