A wedding decorator has shared how a bride surprised her boyfriend with a wedding after growing tried of waiting for him to pop the question – but her big idea didn’t go down as planned
A woman surprised her boyfriend with a wedding after growing tired of waiting for him to propose. Wanting to make it special, and ensure he showed up, she decided to plan their big day at his local golf course. However, his reaction to her surprise nuptials didn’t go down well – leaving her sobbing in her wedding dress.
Taking to Reddit, a wedding decorator said: “Two years ago we did the decor for a really pretty ceremony, and halfway through the day we found out it was a “surprise wedding”. Basically, they were not engaged, but the bride planned the whole thing and the groom showed up at the golf course thinking he was just playing a regular round of golf. Nope. He walked into his own wedding, saw her standing at the altar.
Shocked by the woman’s “crazy” idea, users jumped on the post to share their thoughts and questioned how nobody tried to stop her.
