Some key iOS 17 features

iMessage: Now you can find messages more easily with a special filter. There’s also a new icon that takes you right to your latest messages. If someone sends you a voice message, it can turn into text so you can read it instead of listening. There’s even a feature called Check-In that lets you share where you are and how you are doing with someone else. It can even let them know when you get home or if your phone’s battery is low or you don’t have good reception.

AirDrop: AirDrop is getting an awesome upgrade called NameDrop. It lets you share your email, phone number, and other info just by putting two iPhones close to each other. And guess what? It works between iPhones and Apple Watches too! Even if the devices are far apart, AirDrop will still do its thing.

Keyboard: The iPhone keyboard is getting smarter and more helpful. It can predict what you want to type and fix your mistakes in sentences. It will also remember the not-so-nice words you use. And there’s a handy new shortcut that makes it easy to go back to your original word if the autocorrect changes it.

Journal: Apple created a brand new app called Journal. It’s all about helping iPhone users think and write about the things they’re grateful for. The app uses fancy technology to give you personalized ideas based on what you’ve been up to, like the photos you took, the people you hung out with, the places you visited, and the workouts you did. And don’t worry, everything you write in the app is kept private and safe.
