Polly the anxious goat is only calm when she wears her duck costume

For some, that may be colouring books or candles. For Polly the goat, it’s dressing up as a little duckling. Polly is a rescue goat who lives in a group of goats called Goats of Anarchy, looked after by Leanne Lauricella.

Polly also happens to suffer from anxiety, along with other serious health issues including blindness and neurological problems.

She decided to give the costume to Polly to try on.

And it turned out that Polly’s true calling is dressing up as a little duck.

Leanne told The Dodo that she reckons that the costume works in the same way as being swaddled in a blanket. But no other T-shirt or blanket has the same effect on Polly as her favourite duck costume.
